How to verify if Microsoft Silverlight is installed on PC?

Microsoft Silverlight is a new technology platform from Microsoft. We need Adobe Flash player plugin to view Flash based websites in web browser. Similarly, we need Microsoft Silverlight plugin to view Silverlight powered websites. This technology renders neat interactive graphics and motion to content being viewed in web browser.

Is Silverlight installed on my computer?

It is recommended to install Microsoft Silverlight plugin on the computer. If you stumble upon Silverlight powered website, you might see blank screen instead of original content due to missing Silverlight plugin on your computer.
