Change background color of Microsoft Word window

Are you tired of seeing white background color while working in Microsoft Word? You can change the background color of Microsoft Word document window to any color of your choice and relish new look background. However, this background color is only visible in Web Layout view and it does not print.

Change the background color of MS Word

1. Open a new Window of Microsoft Word window.

2. Goto Format > Background. Select any color of your choice and see it as background color of your MS Word document window. Make sure you are in Web layout view to see colorful background of your MS Word window.

Note: Background changes will only appear in web layout view mode. To get them in print, goto File > print and click options button at bottom left part of the print window. Then enable background Colors and Images for background printing. You also add gradient background effect instead of solid background color.
