How to search ebooks by ISBN & ISSN number on Google?

For starters, ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. It is unique number assigned to each edition and variation (except re printings) of a book. ISBN is 13 digits long if assigned after January 1, 2007, and 10 digits long if assigned before 2007.

ISSN stands for International Standard Serial Number. It is a unique 8 digit number used to identify a print or electronic periodical publication / magazine. Sometimes we have ISBN / ISSN number of an ebook and need to search using that.

Search by ISBN & ISSN on Google

1. Open Google Book Search & click Advanced Search option.

2. On Advanced Book Search webpage, scroll down at the bottom and check for return book by ISBN and ISSN options.
3. Enter ISBN or ISSN number and click Google Search button to see relevant results. Try ISBN number 99921-58-10-7 for Qatar based publications or use 9971-5-0210-0 for Singapore based publications.
