Yahoo Messenger is an awesome application to stay connected with Yahoo buddies. We tend to chat for long hours and sometimes there is need to check time when a specific message was sent on Yahoo Messenger. By default, Yahoo Messenger records date and time information of every message sent or received. You need to turn ON this feature to see date and time information.
Enable TimeStamp in Yahoo Messenger
In Yahoo Messenger chat window, goto view > timestamp to see date and time information next to every message sent or received on Yahoo Messenger. Alternatively, you can hit F2 key to enable Timestamp option in Yahoo Messenger.
As seen in above screenshot, timestamp option display specific date and time information next to every message sent or received on Yahoo Messenger.
Is there a way to have the timestamp be shown as the default so you do not have to press F2 every time?
