Google auto suggest feature show you related keyword search in a pop-up menu as you type the search keyword on Google homepage. While this is very useful for some users, other users may find it annoying. You can easily turn off this feature.
Turn OFF Google Suggest from preferences
1. Go to Google.com and login into your Google account.
2. Click on preferences link.
3. Scroll down and look for 2 options next to Query Suggestion. Highlight the option ‘Do not provide query suggestions in the search box’ and click on save changes button.
Direct Google Search URL with no suggestions
If you access Google Search from bookmarks, you can save direct Google URL [http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en] with disabled auto suggestion feature.
