How to generate dummy lorem text in MS Word?


Sometimes we need dummy sample (Lorem) text to fill up documents while we work on a project. There is no need to look around to copy dummy text, instead generate it within Microsoft Word application with a quick command.

Dummy Text in Office 2003

1. Open Microsoft Word 2003
2. Type =rand(p,s) and hit the Enter key. Here p is number of paragraphs and s in number of sentences. For example, use =rand(2,4)

1. Open Microsoft Word 2007
2. Type =lorem() and hit the Enter key to see dummy text in your MS Word document. [source]
