Minimum System Requirements of MS Office 2013 software

1. Operating System – It should work fine on Windows 8 and Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit) operating systems. You cannot install new Office software on older Windows operating systems like Vista and XP. For Apple users, new Office software should work on Mac OS X version 10.5.8 or later.

2. Processor and Memory – 1 GHz or greater x86/x64 processor with SSE2 instruction set for Windows PC and Intel processor Mac system. On memory front, 1 GB RAM (32-bit or Mac) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit) is required for new Microsoft Office program.

3. Hard Disk and Graphics – This software needs 3 GB free disk space on Windows PC) or 2.5 GB HFS+ hard disk format on Mac systems. Graphics hardware acceleration requires DirectX 10 graphics card and 1366 x 728 resolution in Windows PC, 1280 x 800 screen resolution support on Mac systems.
