How to add Date & Time to Microsoft Word Documents?

ADVERTISEMENTS

Some documents need to be stamped with relevant date and time. You can easily add specific date or time or an auto-updating date and time to any Microsoft Word Document.

Add Date and Time

1. Open any Document in MS Word by File > Open
2. Goto menu option Insert > Date and Time
3. Select any of the given Date – Time format as per need.

If you uncheck  ‘update automatically’ option then date and time at the moment of document creation will be stamped on the document. If this option is checked, then whenever you open the document – current date and time will be displayed.
