Device Manager is an important part of Windows operating system. Using this, you can see list of devices on the computer. It can also indicate installed, missing or corrupt driver status of any device. Missing or corrupted drivers are indicated by a yellow exclamation or red cross sign.
Steps to open Device Manager
1. Click on Start > Run
2. Then type devmgmt.msc and click on OK.
Device manager should be open on the screen. Alternatively, you can right click on ‘My Computer’ and click on ‘properties’. Then click on hardware tab and check for device manager access button there.
