Skip RapidShare waiting time & download limit

Rapidshare is a very popular file hosting service. To able to download files quickly without having to wait, you need to buy premium Rapidshare account which costs money. As a free users, you can download any file on Rapidshare but with restrictions of waiting time.

While there are number of software or applications claiming to bypass such restrictions, here is simple trick to achieve the same. After one Rapidshare file download is complete, you can perform following Two steps and download next Rapidshare without any/less wait time.

Step 1: Get new IP for connection

1. In Windows, Click Start > Run.
2. In run box type cmd.exe and click OK
3. Now type following lines (press enter after each line):
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

Above steps will assign a new IP address to your internet connection. Alternatively, you can manually disconnect and re-connect internet connection for a new IP address. This step will not work, if your internet connection has fixed IP address (rare cases).

Step 2: Delete Internet History Files

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. In IE goto to ‘Tools’ menu, click on ‘Internet Options’.
3. Click ‘delete’ button next to browsing history.
4. Then click on ‘delete all’ or delete manually to prevent deletion of passwords stored by IE.

Firefox Users, click on ‘Tools’ menu > ‘Clear private data’. Then select all and click on ‘Clear private data now’. You can uncheck password option to prevent deletion of passwords stored in Firefox.
