Change Inches to Pixels unit measurement in Photoshop


Majority of web designers and newbies love to work by keeping in mind Pixels unit for measurements. Incase Inches as unit of measurement confuse you a lot, then you can make switch to Pixels as measurement unit. In Adobe Photoshop settings, you can change units measurement from Inches to Pixels for easy measurement visualization while making creative designs in Photoshop program.

Switch from Inches to Pixels unit in Photoshop

1. Open Adobe Photoshop program on your computer. Then in the top menu, goto Edit > Preferences > Units & Rulers option. This will open Preferences dialog box. MAC users can find Preferences option under Photoshop menu option.

2. On Preference box, under Units section – change units type from Inches to Pixels from the drop down box. Then click OK button to save changes to settings for measurement units.

Besides Pixels and Inches – you can also select either of other options among: cm, mm, points, picas and percent. So make this change and make creative designs with easier visualization of measurement sizes through Pixel as default units instead of Inches.
