Internet Explorer is default web browser for many users to surf the internet. Different and new release of Windows operating system is also accompanied by newer version of Internet Explorer browser. User may need to know the current version of Internet Explorer on PC to upgrade or check compatibility with some other application.

Check Internet Explorer Version

1. Open Internet Explorer on the computer.
2. Goto Menu option Help > About Internet Explorer.
3. In the pop-up Window you can check Internet Explorer version, cipher strength, product ID and update version.
