How to find static IP address of computer

IP address is unique number assigned to every computer connected to the internet. Being unique, it helps identify one or more computers connected to the internet. Every computer has unique IP address, which can be easily known while computer is connected to the internet.

Find & View IP address of computer

1. Click Start > Run, a new Run dialog box will appear.
2. Type cmd in the run box & click OK.

3. A black DOS screen will appear. Type ipconfig and press then enter key to see IP address of the computer (as pointed in the screenshot above).
