Ideally, we use Microsoft Excel software (as part of MS Office) to create, open and edit Microsoft Excel spreadsheet files. Now you can do all this to MS Excel (.xls, .xlsx) files online at Google Docs online suite. There is nothing to install to work on MS Excel files online.

1. Goto Google Docs & login into using Google / Gmail account.
2. Click on Upload button to see “Upload a File” webpage.
3. Click browse, select your MS Excel file & click “Upload File” button.
4. Your uploaded MS Excel file will appear in online editor. Here you can edit file and save changes accordingly without need to install any software.
