How to add Square metres symbol in a text document

Do you want to add perfect looking square metres symbol to a text document? To achieve this, 2 next to M should be smaller and little higher than baseline. We can easily achieve this using Superscript text property in Microsoft Office Word.

Use Superscript in MS Word

1. Open MS Word and Type m2
2. Select 2 and then press Ctrl Shift = keys at the same time.

Use direct method

Type m and hold down the Alt key & on numeric keypad type 0178
This will also give final result as m2
