Do you want to change existing display name of your Facebook account? Many users tend to goofup with name field and want to change display name of their Facebook account. Thankfully, Facebook does have option to change the display name.
Change display name of Facebook account
1. Goto Facebook.com & login into your account. Then goto Account > Account Settings option at top right part. This will open Account Settings page with ‘General’ tab highlighted.
2. Then click ‘Edit’ button next to your displayed name at the top. Then click to type and update your First name, Middle name and Last name for display on the Facebook profile.
You can also update and add ‘Alternative name’ to your Facebook profile. Like you can display nickname or maiden name for easier dicovery by friend who know you by nickname instead of full name.
3. Once you make changes to your Name details, Click Save Changes button to submit new information.
Note - Your name will NOT change immediately. It will take upto 24hrs (or 48hrs) for new name details to appear in your Facebook account.

I think a lot of people want to know how to display a different name on facebook feeds than their full name. Facebook requires you enter your real name, which I agree with, but you are now also stuck with displaying your full real name. What if I just wanted it to display Angie on all my posts instead of Angie Stropp? Can’t do it!
So many people ask the question and everybody answers it the way your blog does BUT it’s not the answer to what most people are really asking.
I am also finding a way to do that. My fullname is currently on display but I wanted my business name instead.

I set up a username for my website asktheexperts.org.uk so i can have it display on my facebook profile, but there is no option to do this. Sorry. The name is already changed the maximum number of allowable change it again. Such as maiden name, in real life you use to add another name, please “Other Name” field of use.
