By default Orkut profile is indexed by Google Search. Hence your profile information and associated photos are searchable through Google Search. However, few users would like to keep their Orkut profile private and not make it publicably searchable through Google Search. There is option to prevent Orkut profile to appear in Google Search.
Disable Orkut profile in Google Search results
1. Goto Orkut.com and login into your account.
2. Click Settings link on the left sidebar (2nd last from the bottom).
3. Click Privacy Tab and then check for “orkut in google search results” option. Select “Hide Information” and click on Save Changes button to prevent Orkut profile information to appear in Google Search results.
